Backyard Ministries

BackYard Ministries is designed to reach our own local community of Sumner County, TN. We do this by partnering with other organizations and linking arms with them. Part of "Loving all Nations" includes our own backyard.

 

Listed below are tangible ways in which you can join us in serving our local community here in Tennessee.If you want to be put on our Backyard Ministry reminder emails, just fill out your information below.

Grace Place's mission is to empower impoverished single mothers and their children toward developing healthy, safe, and independent lives in the local community.

Agape assist Grace Place by collecting items the families are in need of. Examples are Clorox Wipes, diapers, deodorant, paper towels, etc.

Mission: Providing Christian foster care to children in need of a safe place to call home.

Agape assist by collecting donated supplies from individuals, businesses and organizations.  Examples include care packages for caregiver families welcoming a new child into their home, gift cards to help purchase items needed to care for the infant, or any other beneficial supplies your group feels led to provide.

FCA Coaches Ministry

At the heart of FCA are coaches. FCA's role is to minister to these men and women by encouraging and equipping them to know and serve Christ. Agape partners with local FCA staff in providing breakfast for Sumner County Coaches.

CARE PACK

Each care pack is filled with day to day items cancer fighters have found helpful during treatment, as well as a handwritten note of encouragement from an adult or child. Agape is happy give these packets to individuals going through treatments. Our goal is to help them fill loved and supported during this hard time in their life. Our prayer is they feel the love of Christ through these care packs. Items include: hand sanitizer, lip balm, water, tissue, journals, mints, ink pens, etc. We will collect items in January and deliver them to TN ONCOLOGY around Valentines day.
